Vehicle Insurance?

Hi,
I'm new here though I've been playing TTD (and OpenTTD) since the 90's! I apologise if this has been suggested before but I was wondering if there would be a way to implement a vehicle insurance scheme. Perhaps not individual but per vehicle type of whatever. I invisage it working as an annual fee you can choose to pay which means that if a plane crashes or a bus gets hit by a train etc, the insurance covers the cost of replacement.

Just an idea.

Thanks to everyone who has made this game so great by the way. When I first came across OpenTTD I couldn't believe how well implemented it was and the improvements that had been made over an already brilliant game. Awesome!

I like the idea, especially when you extend the idea to other vehicle types, eg airplanes.

Yes you can have automatic replacement of crashed planes, just pay us an annual fee....

I like the idea, it sounds good but in my mind its part of the general vehicle running costs... maybe an option to increase annual running cost in return for free replacement of crashed vehicles?
