[OTTD]
Nothing major, nor impressive. I just felt the need to create a North American styled scenario set up for maximum playabilty. Note that this map is meant to be neither easy, nor difficult to play. More of medium.
The land is randomly generated, though modified by myself (adding a couple of mountain passes, merging lakes and removing others). The majority of the towns and secondary industries are at the western end of the map located in logical places such as next to or near water, while the all the primary industries are in the east, with the exception of farms which are in the west. The mining industries are grouped together in quarry like pits except for gold mines which are only found on their own.
The scenario should work with the Gonozal Build beyond r12180M.
Two GRF files are required. These are the North American City Set and PikkaBird's UKRS Industries which is availible here. The North American Road Set is also recommened, but not entirely necessary.
Any comments you have on the scenario, please let me know.

Hi, I just wanted to try out your map, but it won't load on version 12546, it complains about the savegame version being to high (error: savegame is made with newer version). Are you sure you did not use any patches?

Positive. I have no idea how to even use the patches. That said though, I'm now having the same issue since I upgraded to the latest Nightly. I do however remember the previous version being called R 12180M which may be the problem.

R12180M would suggest you used a custom build like the Gonozal build. That's the version number my OTTD is running on and I have Gonozal build. Nightlies do not have the "M" if I recall correctly.

Bugger. Now I remember. The Gonozal build is required, not the Nightlies. I'd forgotten which version I've been using.
