I played a multiplayer game (0.6.0) yesterday and there were tramways available. I thought that you had to install NewGRF in order to use them? Trams are now an option under the road construction button, but I cannot use them.
Could somebody please explain?
Searched for around a bit, though not thoroughly.

You gotta load trams, cause only tracks are available by default. Search for Generic Trams (http://www.tt-forums.net/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=32441), or take a look at grfcrawler (my sig).

Generic tram set is already in the data folder. Just add it.
