Old Dead Train

Post by Ninot »

Hi guys. I used to play TT a tun and I'm just getting back into it.

I built a pretty sophisticated train line to deliver coal, and then I went off to do other things in my little world. 20 something years later, i come back to check on my trains. Apparently one of them ran its course and was very very old. Its reliability was down to 0%, and it refused to move whatsoever. It's in an infinite loop of breaking down now, and the track is all clogged up.

Is there any way to just shove the train off the track into a ditch?

Build a depot as close to the train as possible. Send train to depot.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.
Projects: NFORenum (download) | PlaneSet (Website) | grfcodec (download) | grfdebug.log parser

Another option would have been to disable breakdowns for let's say five minutes and send the train to a regular depot...

But I guess you found a solution :)
