Default signal type

Hello,

Few days ago i installed openttd and found a little problem with signals. Whenever i try to put signals on railroad track it puts semaphores instead of simple signals with red/green lamps. I am not pressing ctrl button, just trying to place signal with mouse cluck. I used to play this game some time ago and i am sure that default signal type was lamp signal, not semaphore. How can i change it back?
