The one in the middle, top row second section is actually for British use (!), hence the yellow warning panels. Developed by Hitachi. Will be a commuter train on the CTRL, I believe, for the 2012 olympics.

The white and orange one is from Taiwan... Not Japan... Also, some pictures in the 'other' category are also 500-series Shinkansen. Lack of knowledge is lacking, but going in the right direction.
Also, needs more nekomimi-shinkansen.
