good .... at last I will be able to play tropic climate with new engines ... anyway ... Adam .. did you contact with MB ? maybe he already started doing tropic climate to
Adam, I suggest you have a look into diesel engines in the 50's to 60's. Currently, there aren't that mnay diesel engines in that period in the tropical set. If you have RRT2, you can check that game for some engines and their capacities. ALCO and GM-LD produced many popular diesel engines during these years.
I have dug into the topic and it seems that early locomotives in southern america or africa were mostly of british origin. So - anyone minds I simply took early engines from TTO?
Adam, that Marocco Class 1100, isn't that just another SNCF CC 66000 clone. In the Netherlands, we also have a Class 1100, which definetly is a clone of the French original
no problem , but you see, in Africa there are many engines from Europe, am I right? they did not develop anything new, only changed some engines to work better in hard climate
Currently i take as the progress - 00, 01, 02, 03 etc (garrat took 3 id's ). But I will later try to make my set compatible with MB's sets so this will probably change.
Hyronymus: Mrocco (marroccan ?) Class 1100 is made by Hitachi. 24 were produced

If you make tropic engines you don't have to make them compatible with MB's sets becouse he hasn't any tropicsets.
