Locomotion Installation Error

I hope that someone out there can help with this one.

I'm trying to install my copy of Locomotion and continue to get the attached error. The computer is a brand new Dell with updated drivers and DirectX. Any help that could be provided will be greatly appreciated.

Nope he's got XP and he's running an abnormal direct x...

Thats if i am correct the Windows XP Mediacenter skin Already tried to de-install and to re-install Locomotion?

Windows XP with newest DirectX

Uninstalled and reinstalled. When I click the icon, it asks for the CD and Bang the message apprears. When it does, the CD won't eject and the computer has to be restarted.

I believe this is a problem with Dell Dimension Dual Core PCs. The Atari Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 prog behaves in exectly the same way (same error message). The RC3 cure was to get a new RC3.exe from the software developer - see problems with Dell Dual core PCs on the US Atari web site. I have exactly the same prob with my Dell PC as Magna. We need to chase Atari on this one, I think.
