Hi - I can not buy any vehicle

My problem is, that I can build everything but vehicles..! So I can only spend money !?

Set your year to 1930 or beyond, before that time you can't build any vehicles with the normal OpenTTD. You can only build vehicles before that time if you have NewGRFs with vehicles that are introduced then.

I have the same Problem. I tried a new map in 1920 and i could built just infrastructure but nothing else. If I start in 1930 i can build busses and so on. But why can't i build them in 1920? I just wanted to start as early as posible, but without busses and trains i can see no sense in starting bevor 1930. So why these ten years?

You can use other sets like the DBSetXL (german trains), which gives you older trains.

By the way, is DBsetXL the "official" train set for OpenTTD (and also TTDpatch)?

No, it is a replacement of the original TTD trains.

Yes, you'll have to wait for them becomming available for use.

Exactly. You cannot build vehicles that have not been invented yet. Even in 1930 you might not be able to build certain vehicles because they have not been introduced yet.

The DBTrainsetXL has trains that are introduced in the 1920 or even earlier, I think. So you might wanna try installing it.
