Is there no "jets never crash", or similar function here. I've been messing around all day with this, even thou I should work on my thesis

Planes also require almost zero effort to set up and maintain an (often excessively) profitable network. Personally I consider the crashes a good balancing factor.Stopping all crashes is, sadly, not possible. You can ensure that trains don't crash by being careful when editing your railway lines. You can ensure that road vehicles don't crash by making sure that railway 'crossings' have either a bridge over or a tunnel under instead of the road across the railway. Ships don't crash with the settings mentioned at the top of this post. Planes, however, will crash occasionally whether you wish them to or not.
I'll clarify what I said a little better. Trains, road vehicles, and ships using the previously mentioned settings and worked with properly will not crash. Planes will crash no matter how your settings are configured.sc79 wrote:Planes also require almost zero effort to set up and maintain an (often excessively) profitable network.
