Syntax error

Hi

i'v small problem with compilation from source
openttd 0.4.8

~/openttd-0.4.8$ ./configure
./configure: 6: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

can u tell me whats wrong?[/code]

kubuntu 6.10

i know there are .deb packs for it... but i really need to compile it from source

Does it work if you change configure as follows:

+#ba !/bin/sh
eg add ba after the # in the first line.
