Problem with delivering goods

Post by mikeya »

I don't know whether this is a problem of TTDX or the patch. But I had to post it somewhere.

I just downloaded the winversion of TTDX again. The dos version wich I own is pretty outdated . Since I use WinXP I downloaded the latest ttdpatch too and aplyed it. Started the game and... wow! It worked.
But what happened?? I builded a station near a farm and one near a factory. Loaded up a train with some lifestoch and grain and sended it to the factory. At the moment it came there he only unloaded 15 lifestock or so.. the rest remained in the train and he returned to the farm! I tryed setting the factorystation with the unloadtag on and off. I also switched the unloadflag in the patchconfigfile but then the train dropped the goods at the factory and it remain there. You know => 40 lifestock en-route farm or something like that.

Is this a problem of TTDX wich never occured me before or has it to do with the patch? I think I will setup a multiboot soon, but till then I would like to play on XP and I like the "new trains and buildings" feature! Therefore I would like the patch :).

Another question for the dutch people here.. wich dutch translation is better? http://www.csucsposta.hu/csaboka/TTDTra ... tions.html
I don't have a problem with trying itself but well. It is easier if someone could say the differences in say.. couple of sentences 8).

Thanks in advance...

Ok, now it works.. what did I do? I disabled gradualloading! Now it does unload fully! Ok, the loading is a bit less realistic but well. That is only eyecandy I suppose .
Hope the developer can do something with this information.

I think it doesn't matter altough I had some strange crashes in Hyronymouses version so I think downloading the other will be better.
