All new trains need to be included to the program(Alter). Totally different setup. You can use sv-codec to hack your save game, not TTDAlter, until Owen have the time to patch it. And he is so busy, don't hold your breath for anything soon.

Unfortunately, that is the case - you'll have to wait until I (or somebody else) writes a plug-in for TTDAlter (and for me to write the plug-in system!). I'm also a bit unwilling to write a plug-in right now because the file format keeps changing a lot right now - I'd rather wait for at least a beta of TTDPatch 1.9.1 (or 2.0 as it may become).

What about this

I know that in TTDAlter that you can change the sprite of a certain vehicle ,in our case trains .Im saying cant you change the sprite number of a train that TTDalter sees to a sprite of a new graphical model if possible. Then TTDAlter thinking that the graphical train is the one it sees changes the settings of that train .BECAUSE WHO DOESNT WANT TO SEE A ICE TRAINN DOING 500MPH !!!
