Hi, I'm not sure if this has been reported before, or maybe it's intentional, but on the main menu of 0.4.8-RC1 the trains and buses only meet stop signals. Usually the traffic flows nicely, but not in this release.
Not exactly important, and maybe it's intentional as to specify that this is a release candidate, but weird none-the-less.
Love your work on openTTD, keep it up!

What do you mean? I'm sorry it completely don't understand what you mean by "stopping meeting stop signals". And why do busses stop anyway...?bjorneven wrote:(...) but on the main menu of 0.4.8-RC1 the trains and buses only meet stop signals. Usually the traffic flows nicely, but not in this release.
Re: Update
hopefully this should not have anything to do with what OS you are using.bjorneven wrote:I've done some more research, and this happens in 0.4.5 too. I'm on OS X 10.3 btw. The openTTD is a clean install (deleted openttd.cfg).
Also I just watched the road vehicles in the main menu and I can't see any problems at all so you have to explain what you mean.

Yes of course, what I meant was this:R2 wrote:What do you mean? I'm sorry it completely don't understand what you mean by "stopping meeting stop signals". Most of the trains get red signals from road crossings, so they just drive a second, then stop, and then go back. I thought the trains should move around a bit more in the main menu, as I can remember them doing so in the past (memory may be wrong though).
Ignore what I said about busses stopping, since they dont, it's just the road crossings are stopping the trains from moving around in the main menu. (most of them)
Should I attach a screenshot with markers to explain ? This is not a "bug" per se, so maybe the devs have more serious matters at hand anyhow
