is there anyway to starts the light for thr train earlier ? maybe ghosting the train ahead of itself ??so instead of a zipping train passes by and the truck has no chance and it gets blown up and you need to reset his route, you can save him!

Somewhere on the forum there was talked about connecting a sign to the crossing, and thus be able to close the crossing one or two tiles earlier.
I don't remember where it was, but you could use the search option.

it would be nice if there was some kind of a way to place an exploded truck in the depot... then you can delete the vehicle, and buy a new one... the orders will then be copied automatically

Thats a really good idea. Perhaps a patch addition idea in the making?
