OK, of course I dont want to play openttd by console but I would like to know whether it's possible to change for example a town name by console when running a dedicated server?! These values are locked for clients (I believe) and thus only the dedicated server is allowed to change this.
I dont really know what possibilities there are for completely controlling openttd by console but I could imagine that it would make it possible to create algorithms to build a cloaverleaf with a script or something.. I am not saying this is a good thing just wondering what the development team's thoughts are on this...
What "gameplay" is possible by console?

In a dedicated server you can only administer the game (eg start/stop/pause, kick/ban, etc.), but no game-changes since the player of the dedicated server is not actually a player. It is just a spectator with administrative rights.

Still I feel it should be possible to change the town names for a dedicated server, since no client can do but if you host a server and also play on it (non-dedicated server mode) then you are able to do this!
I think it's quite logical that clients arent allowed to change town names but it should it be impossible at all?
A second topic I would like to discuss is what the development team thoughts are on what should be possible for clients by console?
