alpha 61 - Crash when trying to use DBSetW and DBSetXLW

Hi

Was applying DBSet and DBSetXL in Grf Status in game, the game crashes as soon as i apply the settings.

I have attached the crash.txt file and screen captures of GRF Status windows with a copy of game and GRF settings files.

Please let me know what else you need to know!

Also, i cant seem to get my trains to refit with the new goods available, like gas and tourist ect.

This crash happens when the patch is starting, not in any particular game. I suspect you may have attached the wrong crash file, because this happens while loading the new .grf files, and suggests that one of them is corrupt.

I replaced the Grf file that you thought was corrupted and i checked to see if it was the wrong Crash.txt file and i did post the correct one!!

I went into the same game and selected the DB and DBXL Grfs again and it crashed again, please see the attached files.

What else can i try?

I have been working on this game for a long time and would like to use the DB set so i can use the new industries, but can't till i get this sorted out.

Are you using the DBSet and the DBSetXL at the same time? From your description of the problem it sounds like that. DBSet and DBSetXL don't go very well along with each other, so you should disable one of them, preferably DBSet (not XL), since it doesn't work very well with the latest alphas.

That is of course if you have both enabled. If you don't, I stand corrected.

What else can i try?

Try removing all other files from the newgrfw.cfg file. I suspect one of the files there is corrupt, but I can't tell from the crash log which one it is. By removing them one by one you could find out which one it is.
