Then England owns Sri Lanka... Just once :P
So what's the points table?

Look at the table below...

Yeah I know, pretty dodgy table :S btw, BP = Bonus Points. Heh, I'll try and explain the scoring system  Basically there are 6 points up for grabs in a game, if you win you get 5 points... easy enough :P But to get the bonus point the team....
- Batting second, must score the runs in 40 overs or less.
- Bowling second, must bowl the other team out for less than 75%(sordid?) of their runs.

If not the losing team gets the BP. Lol, easy enough

It's a slaughter once they get on the field. By the end of the game they look suicidal. I feel sorry for the English players sometimes.

Oh well, poor England... Is the boxing day test in Sydney? cause if it is I'm gonna go see a day of it. I'm pretty sure there hasn't been a test at the SCG yet.

I'm sorry but I don't understand it. When you bat, you get six balls, and when you've hit the ball you have to run a few times (six max I believe).
Then there was something about overs???
That's as far as I get. How many innings are there in a game?

It's actually pretty hard to explain the rules of cricket, but here is a site which does it pretty well (I think  ) Just ignore the American's part, unless you american  (It just says the game is unfamilar to American's). If you still have a question post it, I'll be able to answer it better if you have a general knowledge.

Great, I understand now. I had found another site already, but it was simply huge. Thank you!

EDIT: And I got an 8 (out of 10), although he didn't ask anything about cricket.Image

They are less spectacular (or for Chemics, spectacular the other way round probably, but English is the only thing I got back yet).

The only thing we don't do well in is soccer, and that's because rugby is the country's favourite game here (and I reckon rugby's a pretty boring game compared to soccer).

Rugby is cool! Much better then that silly American Football with all those protections and rules. Just plain asskicking!
I don't really like the name Soccer though, I prefer Football.
