Hi ya all,

Just a minor bug, I could refit the train but the refit window says that I am refitting an aircraft...............

Hi groen, I think everybody has seen this , but nobody has ever said anything about it
i moved it to the patchman's forum, perhaps he can fix this !
But it's a very small bug !

To be very honest.... I haven't been able to find this Refit window ever before

... can anyone tell me where it is.. ?

First of all, you have to play the deluxe version of the game. Second, the aircraft, ship or train must be in the depot. Third, the boat/train/plane must be refittable.

Then you'll get a button with two crates. This is the refit button.

With the patch, you may enable train refit. It is not available to an unpatched version. Only the general cargoship and most of the planes are refittable.

I noticed the option in the cfg file.. But I was never able to find the refit option ingame..... thanks.. Ill try it when I get home..

But it's true what groen says, refit aircraft when you're refitting a train ???
off-course there is only one or two trains that you can refit !

Yep: The DMU's, the SH '125', the 'Z1' and (for me only) the 'Z99' (the toyland monorail loco)

This is because Josef used the Refit Aircraft routines for the trains. I don't know if it's possible to change the window title.

It probably would be able to change the title...but then when you refit a plane it would say "Refit Train"....You could put "Refit Vehicle"

We just need to wait until 'mkpttxt' (tool to tanlating text in TTDPatch will support this ...)

no big loss although i would be interested to see a DMU try and haul oil up a hill (without eating it all up in the process... )
