TTD Translator [2.5 beta 1 released]

Post by Csaboka »

I've started this forum because I don't know how many people are
interested in translating TTD. There are currently three translations:
a Hungarian one (Guess who made it :D ), a Polish one and an Italian
one. The last two are in beta stage. All sources of TTD Translator
disappeared some time ago because my hard disk went wrong :(
Now I'm working on rewriting it. Please send suggestions and ideas
here about what should I change/implement.

I keep getting 'cant find translated string number x'
after breaking one of my fingers around number 1060, i broke off the program
deleted it and re-installed
again the same thing
what can i do to fix this, i gave the wrong path at the beginning
but if you delete the program , you should be able to give the paths again , one would think :?
Well, back to work, lot's of it in the near future

talking about toytrains... of course you're all aware of the existance of electric 'toy' trains. (In dutch: Modelbouw).
Well I was at this computer exhibition (For dutchies: HCC BEURS) and I saw a nice track laid out there with three trains and a few switches and signs... The owner had connected it somehow to his laptop.. and he was managing trains on there.. just like we do in TT...only then for real!!!!. they can actually do these things:
-react to signs
-go slower on specific parts of the tracks (ie bridges)
-one model of train goes faster than another
-all run at the same time

I thought this was SOOO cool... I immediately wanted to buy lots of stuff myself and build a HUGE junction
