Thank you

: No - you don't.
: Most ISPs have an acceptable use policy. Using their email servers to
: distribute bulk mail is usually forbidden.

yes, but if it blocks after one spam, even if the spammer is blocked thats
that ISP out of the window...
: > how do real messages get to you?
:
: This is the crux of the matter. If an ISP does NOT have a acceptable use
: policy that disallows bulk mail, and if an ISP continues to allow
: bulkmailers to use their mail servers then their mail servers get added to
: the MAPS RBL
"If you subscribe to the MAPS RBL service then you simply never recieve any
mail from any ISP that hosts spammers"
So that means it blocks all spam, so it doesn't have to continue spamming as
it will get blocked after one i presume?
: This means you do not get mail from anyone on that ISP.
:
: This means that when people who subscribe to the ISP try send you mail it
: gets bounced back.
:
: This does result in many pissed off innocent users.
:
: This is unfortunate.
:
: It also gives the ISP in question a major incentive to (a) review their
: acceptable use policy, and (b) terminate services to the bulk mailer, as,
: until this is done, they cannot provide their legitimate customers with an
: email service.
I must say, I have never heard of this service, Have ISP's?
