I have recently dusted off my copy of TT strategies & secrets and i was
wondering if this book would apply to TTD also?

Well, in most parts, yes. But there's added features in TTD that won't be in
that book.

I learned how to play TT and TTD from trial and error... mainly a shareware
demo I kept finding in those CDs that advertise with '100 of the hottest games'
but they're actually all shareware. The TT demo only let you play 2 years and
only with trains, but I kept playing it over and over, and once I got the full
copy of it, I was pretty much ready.
