New kid on the block

Post by Boudewijn Dijkstra »

Hi guys,

I'm a newie in this newsgroup. I've played TT for 3/4 of a yr, so I think I
know almost all of the dirty tricks of this game.
Do you guys also play this game over the internet? If yes, I would like to
join and see how good you are!

Over the Internet?? The Internet is TCP/IP and TT runs on IPX/SPX.

You can encapsulate IPX within TCP/IP I'm sure.

You'd need some sort of emulator, it would be easier though to RAS into
another computer, providing it's a local call

The Internet is TCP/IP and TT runs on IPX/SPX.
But Kali allows the two protocols to talk together.... it can be done!
Someone mentioned about having to tweak Tycoon to use it though.
So maybe it can't be done.

If anyone has Kali, and wants to try.....
