Sound lag after playing for a while (> 1 hour)

After playing for a while (more than one hour) I slowly get more and more sound lag. Anyone else that has got the same experience?

I am running the latest SVN version of OpenTTD on Linux (Kernel: 2.6.11, Dist: Fedora Core 3, OTTD Sound Driver: SDL). I am not running the Arts sound daemon or the KDE desktop. I am running the Gnome/Metacity desktop, and obviously (checked with ps while running OTTD) esd, the Enlightened Sound Daemon.
