remove some depots, that's the only way

the limit is 255 depots... so thats on average on on every 16x16 tiles

I hit limit once when I build "packdepots" ... groups of depots to make it more realistic, however I decide to left that since I reached the limit too fast ... however if I built normally I never hit limit

Is the limit global or for each player? In 11x11 games, there's a lot more squares per depot, isnt it?

The limit discussed above is a global limit, but we're talking about TTD here. For OTTD, things may be different and you're better off asking in the appropriate forums.
