Multiplayer Bug

I was trying to play an OTTD game on the net. I used the shortcut option to put in the IP of the server. When I started OTTD, it came onto the normal menu with "confiure patches" and "create scenario" greyed out. I'm not sure If this is an error or anything but when i press any button it syays "lost connection with server"
Its currently been in this start screen doing nothing for ten minutes. I can quit and do all other things, its kind of weird. I've rebooted my computer and all that too.

I hope you realise that OpenTTD 0.3.5 is released. I suggest you install that version and try it again

I became aware of that just after I finished the post. Last night I had a great game with people like oboka. It was great.
