New stations problem (no yellow arrows...)

Post by Marius »

Hello.
I don't know if it's me who's stupid or the patch/game working against me..
Anyhow, I can't seem to get the new stations (downloaded from the USSet webpage) to work, nor do I get the waypoint-station-things that MB made to work; the little yellow arrows does not appear in the RR station selection.
Also, I have the newstating year set to 1950, but still it starts in 1930.
I use TTDxC to edit the file and use TTDx on XP width patch a37.

help appreciated

Is it that the yellow arrows don't appear or that they are "greyed out"?
The filename of your config file should be "ttdpatch.cfg" - no "w", no underscore. Check that and if it still doesn't work then post your newgrfw.cfg file.

Also, did you try new games? You have to enable the new graphics in existing savegames by going to the GRF Status window (from the tools menu).

Damn, you guys work fast  :D

Well, this explaines a lot..
The file, ttdpatchw.cfg (the "_" wasn't suppose to be there, typo), was never in use, because, as you said, it shouldn't be a W there...
I always thought that since this was the windows version, and since everything else had a W at the end (newgrf[w], ttdpatch[w] and so on...) I thought that ttdpatch should have a W at the end too..
Oh well :)

Thanks a lot guys :D
