Well, Im hoping someone with a good knowledge of Polish loco's will post some form of tracking sheet where we can start picking loco's from. I may just make a start using Siema's website for names but I will soon need somewhere to log the progress.

I suppose you need a girlfriend for her to be polish.

Good luck with this set, I'm suffering from a case of fingers in too many pies at the moment so won't offer my services. Will keep an eye on it though.

It would be kind of cool to have a Polish trainset, if only to have what I believe are unique to Poland - and that is, steam-hauled bilevel passenger coaches!

It's not unique to Poland: steam engines pulling (and pushing!) bilevel cars were very common in France in the late Thirties. They were used with tank engines that allowed push-pull service in the region north-west of Paris (banlieue St-Lazare).
They will obviously be included in the FRSet. ;)

If OczeQ can setup a tracking table and can give me some photo's I am interested in joining this project. I hope he also find some old engines. I know the Polish have had a rich post war steam history!! But my first priority is the dutch tramset (and roadset).

Great news! Thanks for your enthusiasm everyone.

Czesc OczeQ, thanks for offering to set-up the information. Once we have it, people can start to pick off locos etc. to draw and we can start chipping away at the set. :)

Since 2004 there are 5 pages, last post was 1 to 2 months ago after someone wanted to revive the project.

Sounds like it never really was alive.

Fireblast, Please don't bump threads unless you have something useful to say.
Purno, it might be alive on another forum, not every project bases there main thread on this forum.

Well, there seems to be a website.
However, the last news dates back to more than two years ago, and there is no info about entire parts of the set (e.g. steamers :( )

Basically, that means no. Well, not as far as me resurrecting the thread anyway. As you will see from the above quote, I was actually awaiting some kind of information, tracking chart, or at least list of locos that we can start a chart from. If Fireblast is asking, maybe he can help? I know nothing about Polish railways so Im really not the best person to do that right now.
As for graphics, unlike Snail, my missus is still here so i haven't had much time to get on with any research myself. However, Snail has drawn a PKP steam loco which he has put into Purno's 2cc set and he did offer it to us before. Im sure he will help us out if we need it. Certainly from my point of view, I need a list to know what loco to search for and draw. Once we have a list, anyone can help by doing a websearch on a loco of their choice and drawing it - they dont have to know about Polish locos!

So, in summary, its not dead. Its just resting. If anyone can draw sprites, go ahead and just chuck them here. We can arrange them later. Otherwise we need a tracking chart or list of what locos we need to be in the set and from there we go forward! 8)

Well... maybe in the future ;) I agree, a good tracking table is essential if you want to convey interest towards your set.
