Not really TBH, but why don't you download TTRS and 'borrow' some ideas?

Because I don't have any idea myself...
I can imagine there's things like aircos on roofs, tho.

Whoa! That EMU is just too bright! Make some shadows on it and tone the white more grey-ish. You won't believe it, but it looks more intergurated with the TTD graphics.

As for the buildings. Put airco's, water towers, satelite/tv recievers and such on top. You could also add more noise and distortion to the walls to create a 'concrete' surface.

my emu is too bright?? its supposed to be bright. its supposed to be coloured white. a nice shiny white coloured train. do you see where im coming from? its kinda lke the company would want to show it off, turn heads, get attention, it would be 1st class travel. high speed travel for long distances and short hops (better for long distance-ie. perhaps good accelertaion but needs a while to get to full speed)...

i get what you mean, but im not sure if its what im going for...

but if you insist that it would look better, then be my guest and do it yourself or get someone else to do it... may i remind you that it has 30 sprites.

Your building, what exactly is it? Is it a single house, an appartment block or an office?

Since I have no intentions to re-draw/edit your train, I'll post a creation of me I did a few weeks ago. The train below is also white, but with green stripes. I made it darker and added grey-tones. It looks much more realistic in this way IMO... :?

now here i can point out "cleanliness" my building is far too uniform and "clean", however, my train IS that clean, in reality it would be kept that clean, shiny, and white (although i guess only the japanese would be able to do that)

Japanese and Swiss trains are the cleansest trains I've ever rode... Inside and outside... In Japan they even clean the window-sealings at the termini!

what i was amazed at was a japanese truck...it was a tanker trailer, chrome finish, and it was SO shiny that you could do your hair in the reflection. the japanese continue to suprise me, i intend to go back there again to be suprised. i didnt ride the shinkansen when i was there so that is one of my goals

EDIT: removed typos

M4rek, consider adding a texture to your buildings. Now they look like made of plastic or paper.
Add kind of dirt or stone texture on the sides, and put some dark-grey material on the rooftop

It still needs some texturing IMO. But it sure is improving :!:

Looks good as purno said and it could look good at the end. Still lacks A LOT of detail. But good work so far :)
