Nice maglevs, perhaps now you should use the Patch and the graphics?

2All:
Greetings!
Here are some screenshots of my game based on Jim Powers' Russia-Europart scenario.

 [edit] I've made these screenies under the impression of some materials concerning small railways before 1950 in general, and one railway line that used to pass near my summer cottage in particular.

OK, more screenshots:

 Screen 1:
The first passenger line connected Moscow and St.Petersburg (called Leningrad then). Soon it became clear that two shaky low speed steam trains could not handle all the passenger traffic, and a brand new 1st class diesel train was ordered, meanwhile the company began constructing another line to connect the capital to the western cities.

 Screen 2:
Several years later the Leningrad Station is already serving two diesel trainsets. Travelling between Moscow and St.Petersburg has never been so comfortable. Older trains are kept in the nearby depot, they'll soon be sent to another railway.
Besides, the western line has been completed, and the quick Steam Express will soon take its passengers to the cost of the Baltic Sea.

he he he, i had a play around with a few screen shots and heres what i came up with.
Using transparence, i have tried to simulate early morning operations, and night time mainenance.
Effects include:
Blurry/brighter lights on night time pic.
Lights on in the shed on night time pic.
Dimmer lights on morning time pic.
Head lights for vehicles at the top on morning time pic are on.

Tell me what you think :D

furdude6, don't you have the canal graphics installed?

Geo.c Ghost, that nightly pic looks awesome, but TGVs have red lights on the rear end

EDIT: Or isn't that a TGV's light coming out of the station hall? Other TGV's don't have bright lights :|

Its surposed to be the lights inside the depots. like the mid-night mainenance
Now i come to think of it, its not a bad stations junction really

Often, if you get up at sunrise, theres A LOT of light, and it seems blurry, especially if theres a bit of fog. (which there would be in the snowy peaks  )
Thanks for your opinion on the night tim onw though :D its very simple, just put a transparent black sqaure over the picture, then brightsen and blur a few light and hey-presto

Edit:
Done 3 more pictures this morning  there a bit better compared to the other night pic :D

In the snowy peak, its A LOT darker now, the train makes its way through a vally, but still accending. Unfortunatly, theres a light malfunction in the rear to carrages. Light reflections from the carriges on the snow, and the headlights at full beam.

Late Evening. A TGV atlantic on the mountainous railway is about to begin its accent into the snowy peaks on its way to the Train Depots (in the first night pic)

A small local-night train makes its way over a few bridges. come to think of it, with a bit more time i could have done some light on the water

May I suggest that you do the same thing, using the US set? You'd be able to have some great effects, with sparks from the steamers and the firebox.
