<strikeout>Is there a list of planned new industries somewhere?
I'm aware of:
Oil power plant
Desal plant
Chemical plant</strikeout>

I seem to be trying to convince myself (not?) to start (and code for) a new industries project for TTDPatch, and anything I can rip off OTTD ... ;)

Seriously though, it seems like any sprites done for one ought to be pretty easily portable to the other (although the code may not be portable).

EDIT: It just occurred to me to read the OP; some of those could be included; pointers to sprites for the ones that are complete?
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

Idea... how about starting making those graphics for new graphics engine?

I know, it depends on time we have to wait to play on it.

Anyone knows when devs are planning to finish (or at least relase alpha version) the new graphics engine?

Heh, sorry. ;) I've got the main old-cargo industries working fairly well now, just need to poke around with them a bit more with relation to animation, etc, then I'll look into the new cargoes. :)

we can't put it in.

1. Nobody said it can

2. Its not in tile form.

3. It just won't fit into OTTD world.

So its not going in, and neither are any other new indsutries not listed on the first post. Sorry to be harsh, buts thats it.

Now, here are three screens of construction, taken ingame.

Both of them but I think the middle one is reasier to spot mainly during construction :?

they are extreme modifications of the TTD Oil Refinery tanks. Same perspective and shape. I have a few more bus to iron out in the second construction stage, and thats about it. Then Ill email or PM the openttd.grf to Orudge for finishing, and then we will do the same for the Oil Power plant. Then we can hopefully release a test binary.

Why it is black inside? I think dark shade of grey would fit
Anyway, good job

And what do you mean in "tile form"? What's wrong with the hotel?

you need to read the points again..

Tile form. It needs be be in tiles. TTD sized tiles. and even then it will not go into the game! It will not fit in game. and and you didn't even get a go ahead to draw it.

Epsilon, we still need you to help us finish this. Perhaps you and roudge can work together?

Hmm, epsilon, perhaps you could tell me how much you had to adjust to add new cargoes? Once I've done the oil plant, which will be fairly straightforward, I'll be concentrating on the new cargo chains.

Born Acorn and I have been doing some testing and the desal plant seems to be pretty much perfect now. I'll release a test version incorporating the oil plant quite soon.

If I'm not too late, I would suggest that the open tanks don't fill until at least the third construction stage, maybe even not until the fourth.
