Alright folks! I just read through a very ugly series of posts.
This guy comes into the forums and he wants to try to make a contribution and gets the s*** flamed out of him.
His English is poor ... Perhaps his first language isn't English.
His first attempt was poor. I see that he improved with each subsequent attempt ... not to perfection, but rather remarkable for one day's work.
His choice of vehicle may not have been ours but he saw value in it and if he had seen it to completion, that would not have meant that we would have to have used it.
All in all, the criticism could have been a whole lot more constructive.
He did follow up on the positive stuff and he did make the attempt.
Now he is gone and we may just have lost a potentially valuable contributor.
iaindx, if you are still following this thread, I hope you give us all another try. There were a lot of positive comments above and I think you took note of them. Your work is not the best yet, but with good coaching and practice you will improve. At the very least, you showed a lot of patience and willingness to try and that is half the battle.
