Alltaken wrote:yes i know the patch has it (in their GFX GUI) but OTTD doesn't.

it needs to be visable, not somthing you need to read code to see.

Yeah. Even if the copyright is creative commons, the author of a work should be easily identifiable. Definitely needs 3 extra fields: Copyright statement, copyright date, Author. (Under copyright law, the creator of a work can state how the copyright statement should read, so it cant be a simple boilerplate - needs free-format text).
So not good, and definitely not perfect. ;)

These are the LDraw files for my monorail trains. You will need all the unofficial parts for this. And, if it complains about not being able to find "Driver.ldr" its ok. That was just a small driver I made!

My first attempt at making a loco in MLCAD.

I was contemplating making the cab a bit longer.

Well, the front and back could be longer and the cab could be bigger but after that, it's quite good. It would be a quite good early shunter.

Looks quite nice! But since it's short, it looks like a shunter (don't know if you meant to make a shunter)

I was trying to make a 1950s shunter/road switcher. Something between 600-1200 hp and 50-70 mph. A bit of inspiration from GB&W Alcos.

I made 3 different versions with a lengthed cab. I couldn't make up my mind on how/if to lengthen the ends. The hand rails and the ends were a last minute addition. They are more for realism than looks.

Oh man. This is the greatest thing evah!

It makes me want to break out LDraw again. Which means it will consume my time, nay, my very soul!

hee! I would love to see this implimented! Though I can be patient and wait for the required ground work (32bpp stuff).

Maybe I will have another tinker with LDraw.

I hooked up my accelerator to my brake lights. I hit the gas, people behind me stop, and I'm gone.
Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car. Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car. Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall. Torque is how far you take the wall with you. Spoilers and bodykits are how much of the wall you take with you. Rollcages and windownets are how much of a mess you leave on the wall.

Lego does have its own scale. It's not linear ;)

Thats the biggest base they had for a boat, and they only have 1 anchor. Its the base of the large pirate ship. That is the correct anchor for that size boat as well (I got the pirate ship for my birthday).

To make a truly massive ship, you would need to build the ship using blocks, wedges, and slopes. It would be an insane task, and the ship would need to be scaled down to work in OTTD. Remember, most ships are 2x1 tiles in game.
