That is the error in GRM in german trams, as Patchman already pointed aboveRailJade wrote:Currently I do have experimentalfeatures.mandatorygrm set on off. I dont recive a pop up error per-say. But in the GRF status, its showing a yellow block with the statement "GRF conflicts with Long Vehicles v4 beta 4 (14 Mar 2006)".

I hope this is fixed now, things are more complicated as they should be.
Code: Select all
0.4.2 (2006-03-18)
* fixed bug with GRM
They work now . Are there any plans to include more modern trams?RK wrote:I hope this is fixed now, things are more complicated as they should be.

Just a question, why are the trams so expensive to build, Should they cost a little more than a bus?

Re: ** German Tram Set V0.4.2 **
May be you should split DOS and Win versions? The sounds can be the separate grf, that is the same for both DOS and windows versions.RK wrote:The bell-sounds are included. DOS and Win version in the zip.
Yes, maybe a new cost calcualtion with that multiplier as well isn't a bad idea.George wrote:I suppose they do not take the x8 multiplier for cost and running cost into account.RailJade wrote:Just a question, why are the trams so expensive to build, Should they cost a little more than a bus?
AFAIR, IRL trams are expensive to start, but cheap in usage
I can do next time, but the file size doesn't reached a critival level yet.May be you should split DOS and Win versions? The sounds can be the separate grf, that is the same for both DOS and windows versions.
I did some tests with a vehicle, which is 2 waggons long. Except from the very ugly behaviour in curves, the tracks shine through very often.RK, while we wait for articulated RVs, then why not just make your 2 unit trams into one long unit, like the US set developers have done in the second post on this page:

Looks like german trams disable LV4 without any warning. Please disable german trams instead with the report that it should be placed after LV4.

Looking forward to this! Hopefully this new set will work with LV4, whatever went wrong there!

Oops, didn't notice you're using the INFRA-Roadset! How strange, yet wonderful, to see someone else using my new graphics! Now I'm even more eager to get my INFRA-set out to the public!
