The best thing will definitely be to include them all, although as there must be 2, 4, 8, 16, 32.... choices, you could give D and E "priority". Basically, whatever you draw will get included somehow.
Note that if you draw buildings in player-colour blue then they can be converted in GRFs to myriads of colours (well, 15 actually :P).

I've encoded the prison in "newhouse" format. I'm just polishing it up with a few improvements (like being able to stop having four prisons in one town :x) at the moment but I'll post it later if you want, Zimmlock. I'll encode anything else if you want me to.

Look great, as always. The animation isn't to loud as it was in the original.

It looks like not to loud the animation, but in the game it is an ill make the word Cinema stop to blink, its verry disturbing when a town has 5 or more cinemas.

Attached is the prison encoded as a "newhouse" GRF. This obviously requires Alpha 34 and newhouses on.
There are three options for the parameter:
newgrf/prison[w].grf means that the prison is just a normal 2x2 building. However, this means that you can get stupid arrangements like 5 of them in one town because there are no other new buildings converted at the moment.
newgrf/prison[w].grf 1 is the recommended option. This means that the prison counts as a stadium so there will only ever be one of them in a town (and if there is a prison there will be no stadium and vice versa too). I find that this is quite a good setup.
newgrf/prison[w].grf 2 makes the prison replace the normal football (soccer) stadium altogether, so incorporating having the parameter as 1.

I am sorry foif there are any bugs because I haven't done a lot of testing and it isn't easy either. (And it's a new feature.)

There is one thing to be careful of, though: don't click with the query tool on the easternmost tile because the game will crash. (I don't know why.)

Hmm idea of build-up-sprites: Usually you see a sign saying "<company> is making blablabla due 2007"

YOu have added such a sign to the latest suburb flat thingie, but how about adding such a sign sooner? (In the only-a-foundation-was-created-so-far stage) :)

When a construction starts, there is a sign saying: "xyz is being constructed here, projected finishing: March 2005"
Or something like that. That's what he'd like to see in your graphics, IMHO.

Just to reply to your last building, zimmlock, I really like it. I even think that here the colouring fits very well. And the city in your city together with your black multimedia buildings looks fantastic.

Could you give me a hint where and when I will be able to get all these nice creations for a windows version?

Especially I am looking forwart to havin the black multimedias...

Have a nice day

Thx, :) i dont know yet when first release ll be, i still have to do a few buildings in the city and the suburbs. There allso emerge new possibiletys since patch 34.
If i have the time and work all day i can produce 1 building a day (a building without construction site) Dont know if you ever made a sprite but it takes some time to do.
Just be patient 8)

Hi Zimmmlock.

You got some nice graphics out there, that's for sure. Just thinking - how about some "new bildings" set (both DOS 'n Win versions) - like Andrex's Urban renewall?

One more thing - they could use a parameter to disable the round tower, can't help it, but it's iritating to me

That looks awesome!

But to me, it was ruined because of the wacky streets, not letting building be built.

Small block of flats as GRF:

The parameters this time are:
newgrf/smflats.grf - new 1x1 building (recommended)
newgrf/smflats.grf 1 - replaces old small block of flats (not recommended)

It appears a bit too often but I felt it appeared too little with the next possible setting. Tell me if you feel I should change it.

It won't appear until 1980 so don't get worried if you don't see it early on.

Pretty large for a theater IMHO. Shapes look fine though, what about a lower version?

Yeah, you right, a little to height for a Theater.

I have changed, the color and made it lower, now it looks like an old theater building, nicely restored.
BTW the clockwork is broken it ll allways remain 1700. The local authoritys
has open a fund for the restoration of the mechanism.
