Looks nice! About tram tracks, if you were in steam team Era will OTTD tram tracks still have catenarys?
IJN Takao is life. Why did the Shinano get converted? Gotta love NeuroTec for Garry's Mod. I even have a server!

I'm not sure about this but I think it's related to OTTD itself, not to this GRF. I don't know if it is possible to change that.

I think it is "possible", but would be a bit hack-ish. Road graphics can also change depending on year, but only after save/load the new graphics show up.

I think I'll leave that to our coder...

And in the meantime... WE NOW HAVE OUR WIKI PAGES!
(accessible via two new buttons in my signature too)

Please, keep in mind that these are also under construction so many things are still missing, especially pictures.

Is this set still being worked on? There hasn't been a post here for almost 4 months. With 2cc buses coming along, it'd be great to have a full set of 2cc ground vehicles.

Don't worry, it isn't abandoned. You must consider that people have RL issues too and coding isn't a 5-minute job...

I hope sometime soon the zero running costs for many of the trams will be fixed, even if you guys just guestimate some running costs. I don't like using Sets that have zero running costs or very low costs (like the xUSSR set), just feels cheaty to me to use something that doesnt cost a penny to run.

Oh, and where are the Cargo Trams? I don't see any links or files anywhere for the cargo trams and they're not in the bundles server download for 2cc Trams

The test file was mostly to make sure that alignments were right and to build a little hype. It is in no way even close to being a viable NewGRF suitable for proper play. All stats, running costs, etc. are known, they just need to be written in. Cargo trams will be making their appearance as soon as we're to the point of releasing a version for gameplay testing and feedback.

Messier FooBar has returned from his sabbatical and has resumed coding on the project. We are still not yet ready to release a playable test version, but here's a screenshot of all of the passenger trams currently coded to whet your appetites.

Our current NewGRF that we're testing isn't balanced for proper gameplay, but in my own limited testing the T-68 ends up being one of the best to use after 1990.

When putting together the list of vehicles to include, I tried to include as many as I could in cities that have consistently had a strong presence of trams. Toronto was absolutely a must, and I even bumped a Flexity from another region just to get the TTC version included.

Re: [OTTD] 2CC|Trams - Nightly Betas Now Released

Post by kamnet »

Messieurs Kamnet, Voyager One and Foobar officially announce nightly beta releases now available on DevZone and BaNaNaS. Download now from OpenTTD's in-game content download service, or from the OpenTTD CoOp DevZone. All models are now released. Please report any bugs and suggestions in the forum. Updates will be made continually as we make improvements.

Of particular note, as of this time all passenger trams in this set can be refit to haul either local town cargoes or all cargoes. More specialized cargo trams will be published in a future release.
