I can't download v0.1 of newcargow, too. The .grf in the zip-archive has a modification date of 29.07.2005 09:52, but claims to be version 0.0 from 27.07 in TTDX's GRF status window.
BTW, I did download it without proxies (no forced ISP-proxy, too).
Michael, are you sure you zipped and uploaded the right version?

You cannot use alpha55 with newcargo[w].grf. You have to use Csabokas version.

OK michael, dumb question, how do I get fish to load? Build a dock in the middle of the ocean or is there another way? :/

Right click while placing a bouy on the grounds (might be tile next to the grounds)
The bouy's name will be lit up like a station name and you can have a ship stop there for a load.
Just don't overfish the cod or a Newfie'll come for you.

Ooops ... Should be CRTL + click ... which implies "left" ... sorry about that.

Ok - a problem
Problem:
I haven't seen this discussed yet but if it's known then what is the fix?
If it's not known, I'll post scenarios, save games and configs.
The issue is this:
Instead of "fish" and "beer" and now also "Oil fired power station". I am getting "** grf text not found **"
When I create a scenario all is ok.
When I first play the scenario as a game, all is ok.
After a few years ... seems to be when the game first builds an industry, the problem appears.
Is there a fix or do you need all the gorry details?

Hey! Its experimental, right? So then there will be bugs. Finding them and fixing them is half the fun. The other half of the fun is watching it work properly after the bugs are squashed, so keep right on squashing ... Well, ctrl+Click does nothing, and I still haven't been able to build a fishing bouy, I just get a regular bouy and the ship won't load. I can get fish if I build a dock in the middle of the ocean, but the Bouy would be much better... what am I doing wrong?
It also appears I can't load trucks or anything with food, the food Proc. plants don't seem to produce food for livestock and grain. This is in arctic, not sure if it's with the other climates. My config/newgrf.cfg and savegame are below.

Well, you have "morebuildoptions=60" in ttdpatch.cfg but for the "fishery buoy" you´ll need an additional value of 64 (as stated in the donotreadme, BTW), i.e. you´ll need
morebuildoptions=124
Or you could use the extended bit switches by name:
morebuildoptions.enhancedbuoy

That´s a known bug in the patch, possibly introduced by "flat docks" (for canals) a while ago.

Dan,
I´ve checked your game w. your newgrfw.cfg and ttdpatch.cfg files.
Indeed your food processing plants don´t accept fish. However, they do accept grain and livestock. I´ve built a new plant on Penndon Is. and that one would accept fish, too.
I´m not really sure if that´s what your initial problem is?
