No suggestions? :(
Here's a little overview

PS: I hope, MB doesn't mind if I used his graphics here - they are really unmodified

1997's BR 111 (white with broad red stripe) is not really a design study as there never were plans to repaint more locomotives. It was only a way of quickly converting "S-Bahn 111" - which were used for fast regional trains despite their livery - into something fitting to the traffic-red-concept.

Speaking of traffic-red, I'm fine with this color and don't think there's any need to "replace" the traffic red version - especially not with some obscure experimental versions from the 80ies.

Georg, I think we need you here more often
Another error: the second design study 1985 is from 1987 ...

For traffic red, I think we should decide what livery may replace it, (I didn't say that it has to be an 80's study) and then make a vote, what the majority thinks is better. Or we draw both versions, and make them selectable by a GRF parameter:
- traffic red
- replacement livery
- no new livery - keep the one before *g*
:)

@RK: yes, a Talent will be included for the later years.

@simmer: hm, at the moment the Desiro is not so popular at the moment, but we'll see

@31337 (): There are steamers planned, like BR 18 (see other thread), and some other engines. In the base set there will be at least BR 86, BR 01 and BR 45.

Thanks! Yes, I need to know what wagons the Bundespost used for mail, and what livery they had, when DB changed to the new livery at the end of the 80's. And how they where used - in passenger trains (how many mail wagons?) or in pure mail trains (how many wagons and which engine?) :)
