Re: Industrial Stations Renewal (v 0.8.0 available!)
Just started a game with this set. Although it was in the OTTD GRF pack I donwloaded a long time ago, I never really wanted to use eyecanday stuff like industrial stations. I must say that I was wrong; it really is very nice. So thanks everybody, for your work!

Re: Industrial Stations Renewal (v 0.8.0 available!)
I just upgraded from 0.7.1 to 0.8.0, and I noticed that trains now drive through the buffer stops I put at the end of the platform. In 0.7.1 a train would stop before it, instead of on top of it.
Re: Industrial Stations Renewal (v 0.8.0 available!)
Assumption #1 - Your buffers were built under v 0.7.1 and then you saved your gamekvtb wrote:I just upgraded from 0.7.1 to 0.8.0, and I noticed that trains now drive through the buffer stops I put at the end of the platform. In 0.7.1 a train would stop before it, instead of on top of it.
Assumption #2 - You upgraded to v 0.8.0 and then loaded your saved game.
If Assumptions 1 & 2 are true, did you try to rebuild the buffers?
If not, try this. Their properties may have changed from one version to the next.

Re: Industrial Stations Renewal (v 0.8.0 available!)
This is not really my suggestion, but I thought it would fit well in here...
Someone thought in another topic, about having an eye candy roundhouse in a station. This would fit nicely with the marshalling yards of ISR.

I am little, ugly, and nasty. How do you do?
Re: Industrial Stations Renewal (v 0.8.0 available!)
Both are true, but I also followed the upgrade instructions in the first post. I also deleted the station and rebuild it, all without effect.wallyweb wrote:Assumption #1 - Your buffers were built under v 0.7.1 and then you saved your gamekvtb wrote:I just upgraded from 0.7.1 to 0.8.0, and I noticed that trains now drive through the buffer stops I put at the end of the platform. Sounds like it might be a bug for mart3p to look at. I think he is busy with some real life stuff. Why don't you post a save game and your newgrf.cfg file as well as a note as to whether you are using OpenTTD or TTPatch. I'm sure mart3p will look at it when becomes available again.kvtb wrote:Both are true, but I also followed the upgrade instructions in the first post. Today I tried again, and it suddenly works.

Great set !
Two questions:
-How i can delete one part of station without destroying all station ?
-What is the tree set you are using on this screenshot please ?

In TTDPatch: press the control key while you bulldoze (at least it was like that about two years ago).hickop wrote:How i can delete one part of station without destroying all station ?
In OpenTTD: click the station building icon and the the removing tool.
Stolen Trees. Go look here for the latest version.hickop wrote:What is the tree set you are using on this screenshot please ?

Life's like a play in a theatre,
Life's like a dream,
If life could be expressed in a sound,
It would sound like Dream Theater...

That's for TTDPatch, I suppose.Smaug wrote:By pressing the control key while you bulldozehickop wrote:How i can delete one part of station without destroying all station ?
For OpenTTD, select the station tool, then the remove tool (bulldozer icon) instead of using the dynamite.

Yes, I realised it and I was just editing my post, but you were quicker...Roujin wrote:That's for TTDPatch, I suppose.

Re: Industrial Stations Renewal (v 0.8.0 available!)
Thank you , i was using the dynamite

Re: Industrial Stations Renewal (v 0.8.0 available!)
In OTTD you also can press the ctrl-key to delete one tile (at least in the nightlies, don't know, if in 0.6.3)
Re: Industrial Stations Renewal (v 0.8.0 available!)
That doesn't work for stations, only for rail/road construction
Re: Industrial Stations Renewal (v 0.7.1 available!)
This is kinda the TTDPatch section.Roujin wrote:That's for TTDPatch, I suppose.
But really, game-help is completely off-topic for a graphics-set release thread.
To get a good answer, ask a Smart Question. Similarly, if you want a bug fixed, write a Useful Bug Report. No TTDPatch crashlog? Then follow directions.

It is okay, the wood displays the amount of wood stored in the station, so you have to have at least 100 or so units of wood for first logs to appear.Hamilton2007 wrote:As you can see i have tryed to built some tiles with wood, but the wood isn't visible ??

Re: Industrial Stations Renewal (v 0.8.0 available!)
Ok thank you!
Another problem,
My station at the bank says it accepts gold, but it doesn't accept it, you can see on the screenie that my train 19 doesn't earn anything from the gold transported:

1. Your station is not part of the Industrial Stations Renewal set.Hamilton2007 wrote:Ok thank you!

2. Your image is linked - not attached. The "Reply" windows for these forums include a feature whereby the poster may attach an image. Linked images are extremely long to load and eat up inordinately large quantities of orudge's bandwidth as well as that of the viewer.
