I found a bug, it is hard to say if it comes from TTDPatch or maybe even from TTD .... anyway ... I having save with Breakdowns Off and when new months come many vehicles broke down ... the most freaky thing is that only vehicles in small area broke down
nowhere else
tip to save: go to station Budapest Factory In wait till July (1st or 2nd of July when UFO lands and observe) ... trains and road vehicles broke down

When building with buildwhilepaused, the red "Cost: $xxx" messages that appear above everything don't float off and disappear, they just stay there. If you are doing a major upgrade you can get so many of them you can't see anything! Probably you already know about this but I haven't seen it mentioned here. I'm using a8.
Also, I play the game fullscreen in WinXP, but frequently use [Alt]-[Tab] to pop back to my normal desktop (check my mail, etc.) When I'm using transparent station labels, and switch back to my normal desktop, then pop back into the game, the labels aren't transparent anymore, and switching them back and forth with the control doesn't do anything. Usually. Sometimes they eventually come back to being transparent, sometimes not.

That's supposed to happen. However, if you do enough modifications, there will be too many of them for TTD to handle, so the oldest one will disappear and all the costs will move upwards. I don't think you can: if you build something normally and then pause the game, the 'cost' labels stop and don't float up until you unpause it again. The movement of those labels probably depends on 'ticks' in the in-game clock, which pausing it stops. To change this would probably mean that Josef would have to rewrite all the code controlling this to make them go up while paused, which would be a lot of work.

I don't know.
But in my current game, I did a load of land movements while paused and my rating in the nearest town (which wasn't far away at all) was still 'Outstanding' at the end of it.
