It's clear that they remodeled a car to a train.
Indeed what do you need with a radiator on a electric train? I think this is not the final product. (I hope so.)

I hope so too. I haven't really found any other information on it except from the NS itself.

Talk about ugly, I mean, this will get you into trouble if you were the designer right?

I like the look of the PROTOS, that Hispeed thing isnt real yet so i cant realy yell if its ugly or not. Btw the movie of the Introduction on the AutoRAI shows a model wich looks a bit better.

That HiSpeed thing looks like a stretched Honda concept car. The Protos thing looks a little less ugly.

Well, the big windows in the doors are quite nice IMO, I wonder what it's specifications are. (And the specs. of the highspeed 'uglynose' too.)

That Protos thing seems to be very long, there is a long way between each bogie! It looks like it would never make a corner or it should snap in the middle!

The spec of the Ugly nose can be found on

Protos:
The maximum speed of the electric and diesel unit version is both 160 km/h.

These are recolored ICMm cars:
Currently they can be found in the wild in the "old" BeNeLux trains.
Wich are going to be used until the "Albatros" (Wich was if i am correct its name, and its type was V250
).
Bombardier Traxx + ICRm + Traxx will be the temporary train wich go max 160 kmph.

I don't think we need more lok's.
We have too many of them.
We now make pull/pull configurations with them.
9 of the 10 trains needed for the 1500 train series in the service Amsterdam - Deventer will be a Lok<> 9? carriages <> Lok.
