When I was browsing throuh my PMs I found an old request from Purno.

If you guys would like to reuse some of my graphics I made for the Japan Set, please feel free to do so: http://as-st.homelinux.com:1081/webs/as ... rains.html My graphics have my name written in front of 'em. Please refer to 'dandan' for the correct data, or search in the Japan Set topic for data I posted with every train... Also, please don't forget to credit me when using my graphics ;)

Good luck with the set! It's a wonderful addition to my games!

Not sure if I feel like drawing anytime soon. In about 2 weeks I got a 2 week holiday, so who knows. Inspiration... hmm... what about we gather some pictures and stats of trains the public wants? The most popular requests?

I might have just the train sprites to base it on...

Eh? No way. It works fine with me.

Otherwise you can take a look in the Japan Set topic for my drawings.

I just downloaded the latest version and it looks good. I've only played around in the fifties a bit, so I can't say a lot, but there seamed to be a nice mix of options. Cheap trains for small lines, more expensive trains that are expected to make a lot of money. Combined with some glitches that were fixed, I'd say this is already a lot better than the last version I checked (which I thought was one of the best sets I ever played, by the way).

yes, i started a game myself last night in 1940, and the mix were nice. Cheap, kinda slow, low hp engines, and expensive, fast and high hp engines for thoose long hauls!

First off, I love this set, one of my favorite GRF's, but I have a question. What is the functional difference between the TGV-A and the Thalys? Their stats are identical besides intro date, reliability, and their looks. (Reliability doesn't matter since I have breakdowns turned off.) Or am I missing something else?

A Thalys does this, and a TGV doesn't.

Nothing, just different grapics. Nice to have some diversity, isnt it?
