Maybe you should update the percent-complete to something meaningful.

/me has another idea.

I once suggested a Netherlands scenario, I made a misshaped one. But it might even be nicer to have a complete savegame with trains running like in reality, and include both the empty scenario and the filled savegame into the final NS Set

Only yesterday I played that one. Well, in fact I don't think it is so bad, you only paid a bit too less attention to the poor Limburgians. And I didn't understand your choice of towns (mine is missing! Haha...).

About your idea: I don't know, but I think you are selling the bear's fur before shooting it (to use a Dutch expression...). Shouldn't the set be finished first? After that, you can include whatever scenario's you want in the set. For example, how about a scenario only concerning the Randstad? I think you can run quite a variety of trains there (intercities, EMU's, goods trains heading for Rotterdam, etc.), and it's much more according to the scale of TT maps.

My NS 1000 is not yet ready, but in the info-sheet I saw somebody else already drew some parts (50%?). Maybe we can share the knowledge, if someone knows how to contact the guy.

Oh, that guy. I think I kind of messed up who's doing what since v0.78 of the Infosheet. How do you like to appear in the Infosheet, with your username or with your real name?

Supposing that was directed to me, I'd like to appear as Yellow Cab. I'm sorry, I forgot my real name and no one seems to remember it.

Thx. :D

you only paid a bit too less attention to the poor Limburgians.
I started with the north and made the north somewhat too big, Limburg didn't fit on the map anymore
And I didn't understand your choice of towns (mine is missing! Haha...).
I had a maximum number of towns. Besides that, I made the Randstad much more crowded with cities as the north. Although in the north I put some smaller towns on the map than in the randstad. In the randstad another problem appeared: Two towns cannot be placed very close to each other :(
About your idea: I don't know, but I think you are selling the bear's fur before shooting it (to use a Dutch expression...). Shouldn't the set be finished first? After that, you can include whatever scenario's you want in the set.
You mean first release the trainset and then do the scenarios? I was hoping to release them both at the same time, without much delay.
For example, how about a scenario only concerning the Randstad? I think you can run quite a variety of trains there (intercities, EMU's, goods trains heading for Rotterdam, etc.), and it's much more according to the scale of TT maps.
That's a very good idea!

Looks nice already, too bad I hate panto's too. I'll see what I can do for them. Mat '34 seems to have an extremely short middle coach. I'm not sure about these two MU's but the DE2 has a 'Jacobsdraaistel': one bogie for two coaches, just like the TGV coaches have between eachother.

I guess you mean the green Mat. '36, the middle coach of the '34 seems the right size in my opinion. According to the photos in your link of Mat '36, it also has the single bogie, called 'Jacobsdraaistel'.
I seem to remember every kind of 'Stroomlijnmaterieel' had this. (And no, remembering it means not I am thát old, but I've read much about it some time ago).

Right, the 'Beelen' weren't very succesful, but they are part of the Dutch Train History as it is, so you can't ignore them. And what is a set without a few less functional locomotives?

Anyway, you don't have to buy them if you don't want them on your rail network. Personally, I'd like to have a few hauling those heavy good trains.

I've been thinking about making two 'different' NS Sets, since there are two different kinds of ttd players, IMO; the ones that go for reality and rebuild the dutch network with as many details as possible. And the ones that go for gameplay and just want to make money using some new graphics.

So why not make two sets? (or with a switch or something)

In the reality set we just make everything like in reality. Even if a train is totally useless, we use it.
In the gameplay set we adjust the properties and only include useful trains and even add some other trains.

That's not a bad idea, IMO.
It would be much easier to code it in one set though.
We'll just "action7" out the relevant info/graphics blocks, and add others.
Then it could have a master switch, to switch between the two sets.
That would need a very thought-through concept, and a good .xls tracking table.
Still up to it?
