I don't know how to do the sprites but i can help in searching photos and information about PKP like this: http://akson.sgh.waw.pl/~mz32162/rail.php
I rzekł Ojciec do Syna: Idz do miasta po maslo!
I odrzekł mu Syn: Nie pojdę
I skarcil Ojciec Syna... zlamal mu dwa kręgi szyjne i wiedzial Syn, ze postapil zle.

Czesc Fireblast. Thats what we need. There are quite a few of us who can draw sprites but dont know where to start. What we need is for someone to make a chart of locomotives, wagons etc. That way, people who dont know anything about PKP can just look at the list and find a train to research. Otherwise we could have a set of locos that have never been used or something weird like that.

Would you be happy to do that for us? Maybe just an Excel spreadsheet, word document or something similar with types of locos and their names. If you can, also add power, speed etc. :D Artists can then add their names to whichever locos they want to draw.

I've found that it's useful to have an HTML page somewhere showing photos and names of locos, and the sprites once they are drawn; then, to have an Excel file with the stats. If you want I can give you templates of the files my projects use; there is some useful self-calculating stuff in the Excel files that I don't totally understand, but apparently it helps with the coding.

Czesc Rysiek,
Thats great news! Although until I learn more, my Polish is very poor. It would probably be a good idea to have your progress charted on this forum too. There a lot more people here and there would be many non-Polish people who could choose a locomotive and start drawing.

Dobry Wieczór pan Rysiek.

Will this set be ECS compatible? I'm really looking forward to it!

Hi I work with Rysh on our Polish Train Set project. I know nothing about that our project will be writed in ECS. It's possible to recode grf to ECS after normal coding ?? (normal means like for TTD :P)

PS Sorry for my English :D:D

Cześć pan misieq666,

Oh I'm sorry, you probably misunderstood

I ment to ask if it was compatible with newcargo .grfs

coding to .ecs would be quite useless IMO...

Great to hear that! Good luck. In case you need any support from the polish (or not really Polish, but interested in PKP set) TT community, just post it. I'm sure many players just can't wait to add PKP set to the list of grfs and will support the project if necessary. ;-)

Well, Many people have posted here and we have only just heard about you! :( This has to be the largest TTD community here, so its a good place to start. I'm keen to get a PKP set working as I'm often in Krakow visiting my girlfriend. If you can provide a tracking chart on this site (Or a dedicated website?) showing us which locos/wagons need drawing, people with no PKP knowledge can research and draw them. I will start drawing again soon and will be looking for PKP vehicles to start with.

ENG:
graphics good but require a lot of adjustments. I hope to see it 8bit too.

POL:
what are you looking at? it's a signature!

ENG: of course we're drawning all grf's in 8-bit.
