So much for the ghost.
Okay, more screenies:
All four mainlines have been constructed: there are three with both express and commuter services. One has just an express service (I guess you could call it a semi-fast), and there is an additional commuter service not on a mainline. Trains are timetabled very punctually: all expresses leave Montrose Rail Station at the same time, and all commuter services leave Montrose Rail Station five minutes after the expresses. Since the mainlines do not have passing tracks (they are all two-track lines), this is crucial to ensure that an express does not get caught behind a commuter. All heavy rail services (this does not include the subway) operate at 40-minute intervals.
While cross-country lines are planned, none have been constructed so far. They will be timetabled to connect to mainline services.
Here is a panorama shot of Montrose Rail Station. Visible from left, we see Baldwin Junction, a (B) line train approaching Baldwin, Baldwin station itself, a (B) line train about to cross under the tracks and enter Baldwin, and Edgewood station located under an urban park. Nearby is, obviously, the busy Montrose Rail Station, where all services are connecting. The departures board, displaying the synchronized train schedules, is also visible.
Further down the South Mainline, we come to Montezuma, the terminal of three services and a major connection point. This station features an air service to the South Peninsula, a remote location that would have had to rely on a slow cross-country line had this air service not been instituted. In addition, there is a streetcar service (the
Aztec) that connects to the air and rail services.
The air terminal here was recently remodeled and modernized, leading to the structure you see. A downside of the new design is that passengers must be shuttled by bus to and from the air terminal. The bus is not visible here because it is now loading passengers at its station behind the terminal building.
An express to Montrose Rail Station is loading passengers in the station, while the commuter train is running empty to the nearby tiny yard so that it can reverse and enter service directly behind the express.

The company president recently chartered an airplane to see his empire as a whole. While he was up there, he discovered many planning deficiencies that were not obvious from the ground. He landed and then immediately ordered them corrected. After the changes were complete, he took to the air again to see the result. He then shot this picture:
