Reputation System

Maybe we can have a reputation system, where if a post made by someone is useful, we can "+1" his/her reputation or "-1" his/her reputation.
Another suggestion : We can also have the quick reply, where the quick reply box will be under the last post.

I don't really see the need for a reputation system. (phpBB 2.2 was going to have such a thing, then they decided against it eventually.)

With regards to quick reply, it's enabled in the games sub-forum, but I don't think there's any need for it elsewhere - it doesn't take much longer to press Reply, and you should ideally be thinking about your content before you post it anyway.

Just noticed this thread, and wanted to put my thoughts in:

the chicagobus.org system has a reputation system on their forums. A few months ago it was changed so one could not give negative reputation, only positive, as the system was being used to gang up on members.

If a reputation system were put here, it would really only make any sense in places like the newgrf sections, and development sections. The off topic section shouldn't have it at all.
