The pointer looks great in 1024x832 screens and larger, and is acceptable at 800x600, but any lower resolution and it looks "noisy". Too bad it can't be animated.

If i remember correctly, i used my own hand as a model and painted a PhotoShop version. The coloring of course is Caucasian, but i think it would be acceptable for Asian players as well. If you want to play with a darker-skinned pointer, just recolor the JPG, shrink it down to a 24x24 image, palettize it to the OTTD palette of your choice, and paste it into the GRF. (I'm not going to go into how you have to do that, as it's been covered quite well in these forums.) Be sure to make the tip of the finger at the upper-leftmost pixel of your selection, as this is where the hotspot is for the drawn cursor. You also need to file the area outside the hand with the transparency color of the palette you're using. In order to keep the edges from looking so pixelated, surround the pointer edges with a neutral gray outline; it'll look much better in-game.
These images are granted with no license, and you are free to distrubute in your own package. As a matter of fact, i would love to see this in the open graphics version of the images files...
