I think we can if you give us a bit more information, like:
- which game (TTDPatch, OpenTTD, Locomotion?)
- in which year do you start the game?

OptenTTD 1.0.5. for windows 32bit
I start in 1900

OK, and do you use any train sets? I think you don't because if I recall correctly the original trains that come with OpenTTD become available in 1920. And you can only lay rails once there are trains available .

BTW: moved it to the OpenTTD problems.

with the default trains, you should not start much earlier than 1930. iirc, the first vehicles become available around 1925. the default start date is 1950.

i am new, i dont know how use train set, and even if i start in 1920 i cant build rail. i have that problem since 2 days when i started a new game. before it was normal.

Did you always start games in 1900 then?

yes, i have tried 1921 and have same problem

No, I meant before you started a new game 2 days ago . In what year did you start then?

Try starting your game in the year 1930 or even later, you will have trains again then.

and yes, i started all games in 1900, thats why i was confused
