Long train name problem...

I found something strange Beta2 + New graphics.

See this screenshot.
My video card is VX-1 from 3DLabs.(one of very old card.)
Dual P3 1G with i815 with DX9.

My TTD is Windows Version.

And I found patch set default start year to 1930, but there is no train in that year without graphics! Eh.. some notice needed.
And what's the 'tender's functionality and differeces between 'long distance' and 'local'?

i think it should just stick out the window, but repaint the screen more often.

You can do that yourself by making the text strings in TTD bigger with the Translator.

In the DB set there should be some trains in 1930 (in fact even earlier, in the 1920s).

He means that there isn't any trains before 1930 without the DBSet.

Just alter the Kirby to appear in 1920, and you have it, f176
