These are not correct numbers(im pulling them out my butt instead of looking it up). but a steamer with 3000HP at 20 MPH might only have 1750HP at 70mph. I went with the nerfed number for gameplay.
If a diesel/electric is wrong, it should be fixed.
what is it with you and butts lately
back on subject.
i wonder why chris did that with the steamers though.
because, he wanted to p*** us off right before he abandon us

For little boys, three things reign as supreme attention-keepers: tanks, heavy construction equipment, and trains, we all know why where here.

I updated all released Dekosoft packs.
It is a little tricky to update compared to the new patch tool but updateable...
For a new install:
Install each Dekosoft pack starting with the Union Pacific Pack first.
Choose web update only on the last pack you install to save bandwidth and time. (all the updater's for Dekosoft get the same file anyways)
install with web installer after the last pack is installed.
For an existing install:
Make sure you have the latest version.
Run the installer for any pack and select only "Web Update".
after the web install has started, use that to install the UP, BN, BNSF packs and the Provo map.
What is patched:
Typos in all GP40's and Union Pacific Coal hoppers.
New locomotive:
UP EMD SD60M
Provo map update;
SD60M added and old style gantries activated.
I have a question about the latest update/patch.
I want to manualy check if the update i did perform was succesfully executed. Wich file/files (i think just one name should be enough) do i have to look for in the ObjData folder to see if it was succesfully done?
I´m not shure if i corectly updated the files. I used the exe´s in the Chicago_Locomotive_Works folder. NorthAmericanPack_WEB_install.exe + Dekosoft_WEB_install.exe

The updating went wrong with the use of the exe´s i mentioned before. When i used those exe´s there is also no option to tick a box for the web update. There where no files to be found after the installation process wich you have said.
After an hour i redownloaded both the USmegapack and de dekosft pack and installed them both again and there was the optionbox from the webupdate. That went oke for me. After the install process the files that you´ve mentioned before where in the right place.
Thank you for your help and the updates/patches.

I do not have an idea I had to start a new topic or I could say it here, but here is my question:
In the Provo Scenario there is a US flashing-end-light device and when I put it on the tracks an error occured. I tried many times, but I keep getting the error. Does someone knows how I can solve this problem. Here's a picture (I couldn't get the game on the picture):
Locomotion DK pack US flashing-end-light device error
I have a similar problem with engine flippers, I put one on an empty 40ft boxcar, pressed the green flag and it asploded, how in the name of all that's holy did Zimmlock do it?
I hae changed the speeds on the flippers and they worked for me, put them on mine cars and made them look like they were dumping coal into coal trains.
I am having a problem. When I try to install the stuff, the installation window comes up, but the install button does not show up.
I downloaded the UP pack Version 1.0.5.
What is the problem?

This is a known problem that Plastikman was in the process of fixing before his computer took a dump. You must have Vista or Win7 right? And the button is there but no text right? There is no fix for it until Plastikman rebuilds the installer. I know he did some of them after I told him about it but don't know which ones he did. You'll just have to guess at which button is which. You'll either install it or exit.
It will take the exact amount of time he takes before he fixes the installer.

Irrelevant.
Segueing into something else, I've been thinking about all the things missing from this pack (don't we all). Normally, all I would mention is the 1930's GE Steam Turbines and the 80/8080 Coal-Fired Turbine (what a mess), but I saw an Espee U50 in there. That means that SP versions of all these monsters can also be included. As I recall, they had (in addition to the U50s) some DD35 boosters, and the DH-643 diesel-hydraulics. Stats posted tommorrow.
